What a cutie! A Cirrhitichthys aprinus (Cuvier 1829), the Blotched Hawkfish. Tropical West Pacific. To 12 cm. Common at times, found generally in association with sponges in coastal habitats. Differentiated by blotched pattern/appearance. Sipadan image. 1992
Clavelina diminuta Kott 1957. Western Pacific; Australia, Indonesia, Philippines. Colonies form masses of rounded heads of highly variable color. Kott (1990) moved this species to the genus Pycnoclavella.
