Hi, Bob it's the Canadian pond guy 11/29/07 Hello Bob,
<Hello David> I spoke with you a few times on the phone
about six or seven hundred years> ago and sent you a copy of
my book "The Pond Rescue Manual" to read. I started in
aquariums and now am a class 3 waste water O.R.O with three
different municipalities (and I still can't spell) in short I
manage water> and sewage treatment plants for cities. Thank
you for talking with me ( I> think once I caught you during a
bar-B-Q and you were hungry). <Heeee! A remote possibility>
My question is that you said you read my book and wrote a review
(sort of). I am out of the pond business but would like to know
what you thought of it (just> interested). <I do recall...
and let me see if it's on WWM: No... not there... and am out
in HI (away from my home hard drives) so don't know if I
still have the review... But do recall that it was interesting,
original, useful...> If you can't remember that's ok (
we all get old... I'm kidding, birthday age joke sorry, I
know it was so long ago, I hide my own Easter eggs). Mostly I
just wanted to say hi again and thanks. David Korhonen Aqua Excel
London Ontario Canada <Good to hear/read that you're
still in the biz... sort of. Cheers! Bob Fenner>
Thanks' for the reply, If you ever find the review I would
really love a copy, I am playing around with the idea of breeding
salt water fish (for a living and taking a huge pay cut but
having fun). <Life... is a series of compromises... I asked
myself... what would I do with more money... and quit in 94> I
did it before but never followed through. I have toured Inland
aquatics in Indiana and ocean reefs and aquariums in Florida (
they had a lot of info on c-quest) and seem to have a handle on
the process. I automate water filtration systems for a living so
might have a leg up in such a labor intensive process. Any way I
am glad to see your web space is doing so well, thanks for
keeping it real. David <Thank you David. Till we meet again,
good life. Bob Fenner>

Koi Carp Magazine Requests Your Help in Writing on Indoor Koi
Ponds - 11/02/06 Hi WWM, I'm James Careless; a
writer with Koi Carp magazine (UK). I am researching an article on
Building an Indoor Koi Pond. I noticed that your site covers this
topic: Would you be available for an email interview on the topic in
the next few days? Please let me know. Thanks, JC <Mmm, no. This
periodical tried to steal from me a few years back. Don't want to
be associated with crooks. BobF> What happened? <The folks there
ran a bunch of my submissions, stalled and outright lied to me re
compensation. I emailed several (from the M.E. meaning many) of their
advertisers and they stopped running them... but never paid... bad
form... and in the age of the internet, extremely bad business. Bob

Looking for a Pond Book source... I am interested to
purchase the "Garden Pond" compiled by Miller. Could you
please e-mail me how to buy it? Thank you! Ying Zhang Ocean Park Hong

Barnes and Noble (.com)? Need more information to help you... like the
Publisher's name, the rest of the Author's name... Bob
