Warty Sidegill Sea Slug Help ASAP
11/25/10
Hi Wet Web Crew,
<Hello Sabrina>
I placed an order this past week for a few things off of EBay and the
company did something rather annoying.... Trying to be nice and tossing
in some extras they sent me something I am ill equipped to care for (or
at least I am worried that I will have a problem). They sent me a Warty
Sidegill Sea Slug.
<Dendrodoris tuberculosa? Or a Dendrodoris sp. of some sort
likely... not easily kept>
I had to email them to ask what it was because I had no idea. While
normally an extra crab or double what I had already ordered is a great
surprise... getting something I didn't ask for nor even know what
it is, upsets me more than a little. Here's a link to what it looks
like http://www.seaslugforum.net/factsheet.cfm?base=pleuareo.
<A Pleurobranchid... also not aquarium-hardy>
My problem is I don't know what it needs. I have been looking over
the net and read something about it eating tunicates but I am not even
sure that this is true or if they have other needs besides this. Please
email me back asap so that I can make sure it can eat.
Thank you for your time.
Sabrina
