Genus Stylophora: Schweigger 1819, Finger, Cluster, Brush,
Club Coral. Thick branches with rounded ends. This genus' skeleton
(coenosteum) has peculiar small spines (spinules) and hooding on the
distal (far end) of the corallites that give the whole a fuzzy

Palythoa caesia Dana 1848. Rubbery appearing common mat,
flattened polyps exposed to varying degrees to 3 cm. diameters. Tentacle
ends look like knobs. Dark brown to tan in color. Western Pacific;

Protopalythoa sp. Polyps as flat oral discs... 1, 2, 3 cm. in
diameter (thought to be species specific). Tentacles on stalks,
knob-like on polyp margins. Western Pacific.

Panulirus versicolor (Latreille 1804), the Blue Spiny Lobster.
Found throughout the tropical Indo-Pacific. To twenty inches in length.
Can be kept together with their own kind but must be kept well fed (on
meaty foods). Cannibalistic.
