Sexual differences for clown trigger Hi Bob, I'd like to
know if is possible to find the difference between male clown trigger
and female. It's very important for me to find them because I
'd like to keep a pair of Balistoides conspicillum Thank you very
much Lorenzo <Have heard of various schemes over the years that
supposedly can be used to distinguish the sexes of this trigger
species... but don't believe any of them myself. And more
importantly, this species is very infrequently kept as any more than
"one to a tank"... even very large systems (thousands, tens
of thousands of gallons). They REALLY fight amongst themselves... even
in the wild... almost always encountered (as more than small
individuals) singly. If you're going to try this, make sure you
have a sturdy tank divider, some place to separate the combatants. Bob
