Pterois radiata Cuvier 1829, the Two-Bar Lion is the Radial Firefish.
The most chameleonic of lions showing overtones of green, black and
various shades of red over shocking white. The salient identifying
characteristic of this species is the two while horizontal bars on the
caudal peduncle, the part of the body right before the tail. French

Lutjanus fulvus (Forster 1801),
the Blacktail Snapper. Indo-Pacific; East Africa to Marquesas, Line Islands,
Japan, Australia. Occasionally used as an aquarium fish. Young found in
sheltered bays, around mangroves. Adults on surrounding reefs near
boulders. Feed at night on fishes, crustaceans, sea cucumbers, squid and

Large-Eyed Bream. Indo-Pacific. To one foot in length in the wild. Feeds
at night on crustaceans and the occasional small fish. Found in various
parts of the reef, sometimes in aggregations of a hundred or so
