The dreaded "beard algae", actually a Red/Rhodophyte... and easily avoided w/ proper lighting, filtration, circulation and limitation and use of nutrients by competitors.

Botia sidthmunki (Yasuhikotakia sidthimunki) (Kottelat, 2004). Dwarf (Chain) Loach. To 2.5 inches in length.
An excellent choice for peaceful community tanks... Lives in shoals of a few specimens. Slightly acidic, tropical water.
 
Coius microlepis (Bleeker 1853), the Finescale or Siamese Tigerfish. Found throughout the Chao Phraya and Mekong Basins in S.E. Asia, western Borneo, Sumatra and Thailand. To eighteen inches in length. Deep bodied (2.1-2.4 into Standard Length), with five body bars. Feeds on live foods as juveniles and adults.
