Actinopyga mauritiana (Quoy & Gaimard

(Semper 1868), the Sand Sea Cucumber. Circumtropical, found under
rocks, intertidal to thirty meters. Can be white, golden to light
brown. With two rows of darkish dots (usually reddish) on its dorsum. A good choice
