Holacanthus ciliaris (Linnaeus 1758), the Queen Angelfish (1). A true queen of fishes. To seventeen inches in the wild. Florida to Brazil in the tropical west Atlantic. Juvenile (note curved white body bars compared to straight in H. bermudensis). A three inch juvenile in Cozumel 2016.

Chaetodon capistratus Linnaeus 1758, the Foureye Butterflyfish. Tropical west Atlantic, Caribbean To six inches. A broad feeding strategy, but still does poorly in adapting to captive conditions. Cozumel 2016.
 
Mycteroperca venenosa (Linnaeus 1758), the Yellowfin Grouper. Tropical West Atlantic. To a meter in length. Comes in a few color, pattern varieties. Pectoral fins with last third bright yellow; dorsal blotches rounded in appearance; tail w/ thin black, irregular margin. JackM pic off Cozumel 2016
