Labracinus cyclophthalmus (Muller & Troschel 1849), the Fire-Tail Devil. Western Pacific distribution around rocky reefs. About eight inches maximum length. Feeds on small fishes in the wild. IZOO 2010

Larabicus quadrilineatus (Ruppell 1835)(2), the Fourline or Arabian Cleaner Wrasse is actually a cleaner only as a juvenile. As adults (they only get to five inches) the Fourline Wrasse mainly feeds only on coral polyps. Occasionally imported from the Red Sea. Also found in the Gulf of Aden to the south. A female shown. Males dark blue in color overall.

Leiaster glaber Peters 1852, the Red Velvet Star. Slender arms, irregular red blotching, small central disc. To about 8 inches across. Indo-Pacific including eastern Pacific. Nocturnal, unlike the similar Linckia guildingi of similar coloring and markings. Here in Sharm 2010

Lethrinus nebulosus (Forsskal 1775), the Spangled Emperor. Indo-West Pacific, including the Red Sea (where this picture was taken). To a maximum length of thirty four inches in the wild.
